ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science at GOVT. Polytechnic Kandhamal, Phulbani has been started in the year of 2023. The Computer Science department is dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in the ever-evolving field of technology. Our programs provide a solid foundation in Computer Science principles, along with hands-on experience in areas such as Software Development, Data Structures, Algorithms, And Artificial Intelligence. With a team of experienced faculty, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a curriculum that is continuously updated to reflect the latest industry trends, we aim to equip students with the skills needed to excel in both academia and the tech industry. Our department encourages a culture of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, preparing students to tackle the challenges of the digital age and make meaningful contributions to the world of technology.

MISSION OF CSE DEPARTMENT

M-1 : To establish the Computer Science Department as a center of excellence for professional learning, fostering innovation and expertise in computing technologies.

M-2 :  To provide cutting-edge education by integrating the latest advancements in computer science, ensuring industry-relevant skills in software development, AI, and cybersecurity.

M-3 : To nurture a dynamic learning environment that empowers students with technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and professional excellence in the digital era.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

PEO-1 : Strong Technical Foundation:  
Students will demonstrate a solid understanding of computer science principles, programming languages, software development, and problem-solving techniques, enabling them to excel in diverse technical roles within the IT industry.
